# About

Founding partners, mission, and citation guidelines for CLIP.

The Cloud Infrastructure Platform (CLIP) offers an interdisciplinary, low entry
barrier approach to high-performance computing. It enables researchers, wherever
their lab is located, to access powerful compute resources for methods such as
DNA sequencing, theoretical modeling, and molecular visualization.

  combining the Institute of High Energy Physics (HEPHY) and the Stefan
  Meyer Institute (SMI)
- [Institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA)](https://www.oeaw.ac.at/imba/home)
- [Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP)](https://www.imp.ac.at/)

All institutes except IMP are part of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW).
CLIP is open to researchers at all ÖAW institutes, not only the founding
